Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God Assist Him, the National Debate on Social and Solidarity Economy serve as an institutional reference framework for all stakeholders in the sector.
They represent a key moment of consultation, mobilization, and strategic reflection on the challenges, progress, and future prospects of SSE in Morocco.
The fifth edition of the debate marks a pivotal step in the process of recognition, structuring, and development of the SSE. It aims to co-construct a framework law that clearly defines the scope of the sector, its fundamental principles, organizational forms (cooperatives, associations, mutual societies, and social enterprises with limited profit), as well as appropriate mechanisms for governance, support, and financing.
Through thematic panels, high-level conferences, masterclasses, participatory workshops, and an exhibition showcasing local initiatives, the event serve as a platform for reflection, innovation, and convergence in support of a promising, dynamic sector fully integrated into the Kingdom’s public policies.
